澎葉生（Yannick Dauby）是來自法國南部的聲音藝術工作者，研究與創作範圍包括電子原音音樂（eletroaccoustic）、音景（soundscape）與音樂人類學（anthropology），並持續於自然與工業環境進行錄音採集。他自2007年起居住於台灣，於台灣各地進行田野錄音，這些錄音也是他創作編曲的素材。澎葉生的創作主要建立在對生活環境的聆聽感知上，並且深受地域、地理及社會紋理的影響。

澎葉生於今年四月剛發表最新專輯《Taî-pak thiaⁿ saⁿ piàn（台北聽三遍）》，其中包含了三段（分別完成於2008、2009、2012）以台北及其周邊環境的音景為素材所編創而成的音樂作品。

在「聽見台北，以及更多」講座裡，澎葉生除了親自介紹這張專輯之外，也將藉此難得的機會分享田野錄音、聲音紀錄片、實驗音樂...等等的聆聽實踐。

Yannick Dauby (b. 1974) is a sound artist from Southern France, living and working in Taiwan since 2007. His creations are mainly based on the listening of the environment and are deeply influenced by local, geographical and social contexts. His last CD release "Taî-pak thiaⁿ saⁿ piàn" contains three pieces (from 2008, 2009 and 2011) related to the soundscapes of Taipei and its surroundings. This event is at the same time a presentation of this recent publication (distribution in Taiwan starts from April 2012), an introduction about some listening practices such as field recording, radio documentary and experimental music and a discussion with curators Amy Cheng and Jeph Lo about the specificity of such works, in Taiwan and abroad.
